Hardware I use(d)

MP3 player: iRiver (really good user interface)
Cellphone: Nokia (user interface kicks ass, but why can’t they make one with a jogwheel for the thumb ?)
Phone: Panasonic phones have always served me pretty well.
Laptop: Acer Travelmate (so far, so good), Apple iBook (harddisk crashed), Fujitsu Lifebook (display problems in the beginning), Dell latitude (very reliable)
Motherboard: Asus and Gigabyte. Two of the Gigabyte motherboards mysteriously died on me, together with harddisk crashes (ouch).
Harddisk for desktop: Western Digital and Maxtor. At least 3 Maxtor harddisks have irreparably crashed (but fortunately I had most backed-up).
Harddisk for laptop: Fujitsu and Toshiba. The Toshiba harddisk had severe problems but appears to have recovered.
CD/DVD drive: LG, Sony
Videocard: ATI (quite alright)
Soundcard: ASUS on-board, Creative Audigy (never got the 5.1 working)
Display: Samsung CRTs/LCDs (very good), NEC (poor), ADI (ok), ..
Mouse: Logitech (comes with lousy software), Microsoft (nice feel) .
Keyboard: Viewsonic, Microsoft, ..
Printer: HP Laserjet 3015 (nifty webbased interface), Canon Multipass 6000 (comes with really bad driver/monitor software)
